Anthony Johann Bernal

Anthony J. Bernal is a Managing Partner of SB Law Group, LLC based out of the Miami, FL location. Mr. Bernal graduated from the University of Miami in 2008 with a B.A. in Psychology and English before obtaining his J.D. from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2015. While at St. Thomas University School of Law, he exceled in his studies and obtained the CALI Book Award in Appellate Advocacy, an award given to students that obtain the highest grade in the class. Additionally, while pursuing his legal studies at St. Thomas University School of Law, he volunteered at a Battered Women’s Shelter for a non-profit organization in Homestead, FL where he assisted in preparing U-Visa Applications for victims of Domestic Violence. After graduating with his Juris Doctorate, Mr. Bernal continued his legal studies at Tulane University Law School where he obtained his LL.M in Admiralty and Maritime Law in New Orleans, Louisiana. Upon graduating from Tulane University Law School, Mr. Bernal returned to his hometown of Miami, FL where he gained valuable experience through E- Discovery and Coverage Counsel work. Mr. Bernal mainly focuses his zealous advocacy for his clients in the areas of: Personal Injury, Family Law, Immigration, and Admiralty & Maritime Law. He fights for those that are being taken advantage of and levels the playing field. He believes that a successful case starts with the client believing in themselves and their case, and seeks justice for all of his clients by giving them a voice to be heard. The legal process of a case is a long and arduous journey, but he and his family of legal experts will be there with you every step of the way.

Mr. Bernal is an active member within the Japanese community in South Florida, and spends his free time attending Japanese festivals, restaurants and cultural events. He also attends a Japanese Bible Study held at a local church by the Japanese Christian Community of Miami.
